This fantastic event occurred 14 years ago when this heroic woman named Nadia Suleman gave birth to eight children at once. She was even known as the «Octomom».
Of course, behind this happy picture there were lots of hardships and difficulties that she had to overcome. It all led to a number of medical errors and raising such a large family took a lot of energy and money.
Nadia and her husband started to face challenges in the early 2000s when the woman had to cope with infertility. After many failed attempts, Nadia decided to see a specialist and this would change her life to the roots.
After a number of fertility treatments, she finally could get pregnant and welcome her first child. Later, she welcomed her twins and then two more boys. This made her think that she could finally fulfil her dream of having a large family.
She continued the fertility treatments but instead of one embryo, doctors implanted six and just imagine her great surprise when she grew aware of the fact that she was now pregnant with sextuplets.
What is more, she rushed to sign a document without reading it through and accidentally allowed them to implant, believe it or not, six more embryos.
Despite all the difficulties and difficulties she constantly faced, she could overcome everything. Nadia even changed her name and did everything possible to avoid the public eye.
This proves that if there is a will, there is a way.
