“Why Is Biden Standing Like That?”: Biden Blasted Over Awkward Speech Pose, Gaffe [WATCH]

In yet another instance of President Joe Biden facing the fire for how he was looking while out in public, Americans sounded off and asked questions when they saw the gaffes he made and his awkward way of standing on stage in the post-debate speech he gave alongside First Lady Jill Biden. That speech was given the next day, Friday, June 28, in North Carolina.

During the speech, Biden, who made awkward gaffes during it and stood around awkwardly before it, suggested that Trump would get rid of programs like Social Security if he wins. Beginning that part of the speech, he said, “I’m here in North Carolina for one reason: Because I intend to win this state in November — (applause) — and we’re going to see that ha- — I think we are.

He continued, “And here’s how we’re going to do it. We’re going to stand up for the women of America.  We’re going to restore Roe v. Wade as the law of the land. We’re going to stand up for the right to vote. (Applause.) And we’re going to stand up for Medicare and Social Security. And we’re going to fight for childcare, paid leave, and eldercare.

Describing the speech, conservative X personality Collin Rugg wrote, “NEW: The President conducted a campaign rally in North Carolina that went about as well as his debate. 1. Refers to Roe v Wade as “roverovrovoverover” 2. Appears to suggest that his son died in a war. 3. Admits on stage that he can’t speak well, debate well, or walk well, while slurring his words.”

Continuing, Rugg added other examples of Biden’s concerning behavior, saying, “4. Angrily yells into the crowd before coughing up a lung. 5. Says he intends on winning North Carolina before coughing up his other lung. 6. Slurs through parts of his speech while slamming Trump. 7. Lunges forward at the end of the speech to prove he is not old.”

Rugg also suggested, in a follow-up comment on his post, that Biden appearing for the speech signified that he is not going to be dropping out of the race despite the outrage over his seeming senility. Rugg said, “The fact that he is campaigning today and appears to be energized signals he is not backing out as many in his party want. Great sign.”
