As Temperatures Fell All Out Of Options Heavily Pregnant And Desperate For Food She Goes Up To Anyone And Everyone Looking For Help

Very pregnant she had been going door to door, desperate for food, desperate for something to eat!

Finally, she came to a home with a family who had a heart, people who were willing to help her. After her first meal, which she wolfed down, she returned day after day for a daily meal.

She had a big appetite too, packing in a lot of food in a very short space of time. As it started to get colder, they could also see living on the streets, trying to survive the winter would not be an easy task for her. It was time to look for assistance. They went to social media hoping to find some help for their local stray.

About the same time Nadia, a local TNR (trap-neuter-return) rescuer saw a photo of the stray cat online and immediately responded, offering to take her in.

She arrived at the kind family’s house at about the same time as the stray cat turned up for her usual meal.

Snuggling up to Nadia she purred, she was ready to be picked up and taken somewhere warm.

Soon after bringing her home Nadia soon realized she would need more help. Her young stray was very pregnant! So she contacted Chatons Orphelins Montréal, a rescue group in Montréal, Canada, where a foster family was soon organized waiting for her arrival.

Soon after arriving in her new home, she settled right in, giving lots of cuddles as soon as the carrier was opened.

She was given the name Laloue, she had been rescued in the nick of time, just before her kittens were born and freezing temperatures settled in.

On March 3rd, sometime during the night, Laloue went into labor.
