Bubby, the cute fluffy orange critter shown in the photographs below, is a cat. The first thing you probably noticed about this tiny gentleman is that one of his front legs is missing. He also lacks a portion of his tail.
But it’s not the only thing that makes him stand out—his life narrative is absolutely unusual. In fact, it’s so unique that someone should probably make a film on him one day. To tell you the truth, I’m confident that someone will.
Bubby’s adventure began in 2012 when he wandered the streets of Grand Falls-Windsor and ended up in Boyd Abbott’s kitchen.
Bubby’s journey began eight years ago when he was wandering aimlessly around Grand Falls streets. Windsor’s Then one fateful day, he walked into Boyd Abbott’s kitchen and seized it for himself. Bubby started showing up near the man’s house every day after that.
The father and his family became enamored with the unusual 3-legged cat and began caring for him.
The man and other family members quickly fell in love with the mysterious cat and started taking care of him. And since it seemed likе the orange boy didn’t want to be an indoor cat, the family would let him outside after each visit.
Unfortunately, a few years later, the man рassеd awау, and one of his wishes was that his family members would continue to take care of Bubby. Despite the family’s best efforts, it wasn’t meant to happen—the cat suddenly disappeared and was nowhere to be seen.

Bubby resurfaced in the neighborhood unexpectedly in the summer of 2019. One day, a man called Ray Pinsent came upon Bubby and identified him as the cat that had formerly enjoyed a unique link with a late neighbor, but the cat now appeared much older and weaker than he had back then.

When the harsh Canadian winter arrived, Ray feared that the cat would not be able to hang on much longer. Because of that, he decided to come to the house where Boyd Abbott used to live and talk about Bubby with the new owner of the house. Ray asked the woman if she could let the cat in the next time he showed up at her house.
The next day, the guy got a call from the house owner that the cat was there, sitting in her kitchen. Ray went to pick up the cat and rushed him to Exploits Valley SPCA Adoptables.

“Bubby was dehydrated and battered. He was taken to the vet and would not have sưrvivеd another storm if he had not been taken care of. “While on the test table, the vet reported he started purring,” Sarah MacLeod, a volunteer with Exploits Valley SPCA Adoptables, revealed.
Sarah offered to foster Bubby at her house, knowing full well that she would one day become his actual owner. “Before I brought Bubby home, I knew I wanted to keep him forever. “We weren’t looking for a cat, so my partner had to be persuaded,” Sarah told.
Sarah MacLeod, a shelter volunteer, volunteered to foster Bubby until he recovered his strength.
“I came home from work to find Bubby and my boyfriend both on the floor. Bubby had crawled onto him. Neither one of us had seen him do this before, but I knew he won him over,” Sarah told Love Meow.
“Bubby with his sad human eyes was loved once before and he is now again. He purrs the minute he wakes up in the morning and as he goes to sleep every night. He’s never asked to go outside once. He must know that he’s home now, for good,” the woman added.
